Morawiecki: deal on Ukrainian grain with EU meets Poland’s expectations

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki says that the political agreement on shifting Ukrainian grain out of the region lives up to the expectations of his country’s farmers.

The Polish prime minister arrived in Vilnius on Tuesday for talks with Lithuanian highest officials.
“The past two weeks saw intense exchanges, talks with Ukraine, with the European Commission. The regulations being adopted these days meet our expectations and ease the tensions,” he told a joint press conference held with Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė.
