Government sets criteria for declaring emergency over influx of irregular migrants

On Wednesday, the Government approved updated criteria for announcing an emergency over an influx of irregular migrants.

The legal regime in force would allow denying entry to foreign nationals who unlawfully enter the country within the border area of 5 kilometres.
