Finance ministry proposes three-year budget for more sustainable fiscal policy

The Ministry of Finance says it has prepared amendments to the Law on the Budget Structure which propose to establish a three-year budget.

The amendments would allow for more efficient planning of expenditure, would ensure the continuity of funding in the medium term, and would form a more sustainable fiscal policy of the country. Some of the proposed changes will be applied already this year, and they will come into full effect during the preparation of the draft budget for 2025-2027, the ministry said in a press release.
