Lithuania will donate EUR 10 million via World Bank for rebuilding Ukraine and enhancing Moldova’s resilience

Lithuania has committed to allocate EUR 10 million for a special instrument created by the World Bank to finance Ukraine’s rebuilding process and enhance Moldova’s resilience and development.

At a World Bank round-table discussion in Washington DC, Minister of Finance Gintarė Skaistė stressed that the new measure will allow attracting additional funds for Ukraine’s rebuilding projects in the near term and earmark resources for Moldova, which is facing negative consequences of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
