Vilnius continues to top municipal life quality index

The Municipal Life Quality Index (LQI) compiled by the Finance Ministry shows Vilnius in its stable first place, with all top five municipalities unchanged, except for the fact that Kaunas district municipality outperformed Klaipėda city municipality. The LQI was updated with the data for 2021.

The index is available on the website Lietuvosfinansai.lt managed by the ministry.
If compared to the 2020 index, the top five municipalities by entrepreneurship was entered by Mažeikiai district municipality, while Raseiniai, Zarasai and Molėtai district municipalities joined the top two leaders in terms of educational services. Pakruojis district municipality is a newcomer among the top five municipalities by public infrastructure.
