Seimas adopts restrictive measures for Russian and Belarusian nationals

The Seimas has adopted legislation laying down restrictive measures for the nationals of Russia and Belarus.

The package of national sanctions was supported by 76 MPs against 13, with 34 abstentions.
After a debate, the Seimas eventually decided to leave out the restrictions proposed for granting citizenship to Russians and Belarusians.
