Ruling majority plans to probe VSD activities during 2019 presidential election campaign

An initiative is emerging in parliament to probe potentially opaque and unlawful activities of the State Security Department (VSD) during the 2019 presidential election campaign.

The news agency ELTA has learned that the ruling coalition has nearly 40 questions related to the VSD and its Director Darius Jauniškis, President Gitanas Nausėda, former chancellor of the Government Algirdas Stončaitis and businessman Igor Udovicki.
