Defence ministry: one tenth of defence budget is invested in military infrastructure

The Ministry of National Defence is devoting increasingly more attention to Lithuania’s military infrastructure to meet national and allied needs and to contribute to the modernisation of the Armed Forces.

The Ministry of National Defence says military infrastructure is developed taking into consideration three main criteria: host nation support, military personnel increase and better military service conditions, as well as military modernisation and acquisition of new weaponry and equipment.
