Chaos in Vilnius district with transfer of ballot papers averted

The Central Electoral Commission says there were problems on Thursday morning with the delivery of ballot papers from the Vilnius district as the municipality refused to provide transport and the police had to interfere.

Public order officers of the Vilnius district municipality hindered the transfer of the documents to the storage place, the election watchdog specified, adding that it had asked the police for an escort.
