Conservative leader says situation with mayoral elections has become odd

Leader of the Homeland Union-Lithuanian Christian Democrats (TS-LKD) Gabrielius Landsbergis says the situation with mayoral elections has become odd.

The Central Electoral Commission (VRK) had eliminated two mayoral candidates from elections as they had been convicted of corruption, but the candidates were reinstated after courts overturned the decisions adopted by the Commission.
