German defmin says in Rukla: security of Lithuania is also our security

German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has assured Lithuania of further military support from Germany at the start of his first visit to the country.

“We stand firmly by the side of our partners and friends,” Pistorius said at a barracks used by NATO troops in Rukla in the centre of the country. “The security of Lithuania is also our security, and that is why this commitment is so important.”
