Preliminary data suggest that LSDP and LVŽS make gains in municipal elections

Voting in 2023 Lithuania’s municipal and mayoral elections ended at 8 p.m. Sunday and preliminary data suggests that results are favourable for the Social Democratic Party (LSDP), the Farmers and Greens (LVŽS), Conservatives (TS-LKD) and Democrats For Lithuania.

With results in from 277 polling districts out of 1,927, the LSDP may secure 25.35% of seats in municipal councils, the LVŽS – 17.74%. the TS-LKD – 11.51%.
