Ballot box turnout at 24% by 2 p.m.

The Central Election Commission’s (VRK) updated data show that 24.16% of all registered voters cast their ballots in the municipal and mayoral elections on Sunday by 2 p.m.

The highest ballot box turnout was observed in the municipalities of Pagėgiai (34.78%), Birštonas (30.76%) and Šilalė district (30.26%).
So far the lowest number of voters have cast their ballot in Neringa (17.27%), Panevėžys district (19.70%) and Klaipėda district (19.61%)
By the way, the Neringa municipality recorded the highest turnout (30%) among all 60 municipalities in the early voting.
