“We should have in mind a very simple thing, based on China’s intelligence law, companies or apps, or social networks are officially obliged to send data to the Chinese government. If you are on TikTok and there is information about your personal life, it collects your personal messages, stories and so on. One should not rule out that this is at the centre of attention of Chinese security services,” Conservative MP Kasčiūnas said in an interview to the radio station Žinių radijas on Wednesday.
