Wholesale electricity price in Baltic States down by 6% in late February

On 20-26 February, compared with the previous week, wholesale electricity price in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia decreased by 6% to 104.74 EUR/MWh.

According to independent electricity supplier Elektrum Lietuva, electricity prices in the Baltic countries decreased due to 14% greater electricity flow from Finland and 7% greater electricity flow from Sweden’s SE4 bidding area on the Nord Pool power exchange.
