"By investing in solar and wind power, we are becoming a clean energy consumer. From now on, we will generate 100% of the electricity that we need and the surplus will be supplied to the national electrical grid. Solar and wind farms will contribute to reducing our organisation's climate impact and ensure greater independence from changes in energy prices," says Gintautas Mežetis, CEO of Paysera.

Until now, the company has been generating around 5% of the electricity needed for its office from solar modules on the roof of its headquarters in Vilnius. The majority of the company's fleet of 8 cars is climate neutral, i.e. powered only by electricity.

It is estimated that the solar and wind turbines combined will generate around 2 million kWh of green electricity per year, which is roughly the annual consumption of 1,660 apartments.

The company acquired the solar and wind park from the SPG Group, the developer of the project.
