Opposition: ruling parties turn to procedures in Bartoševičius’ case as a last resort

The Seimas opposition says that the ruling parties are trying to hide ‘behind procedures’ as a last resort to prevent an inquiry into a possible leak to a former MP over his child abuse allegations.

This is the way the opposition MPs see a sitting of the Seimas Committee on Legal Affairs to be convened Thursday. The committee is set to assess whether the initiative to set up an ad hoc commission to probe the possible leak is in line with the Constitution.
