CEO of Lithuanian Airports calls Ryanair’s move to reduce flights 'public pressure'

Ryanair is aiming to exert public pressure on Vilnius Airport which is aggressive tactics typical of the airline, says the acting CEO of Lithuanian Airports, Aurimas Stikliūnas, in response to the airline’s recent announcement of cutting two routes from Vilnius and frequency of flights on further 11 routes due to increased airport charges.

According to Stikliūnas, Ryanair’s move is determined not by pricing, but by the desire to secure the best conditions possible by reducing the number of flights on unpopular routes.
