Lithuanians receive EUR 10mn in compensation for accommodating Ukrainian refugees

Since April 2022, owners of apartments and other residential premises, including businesses, have been paid EUR 9.54 million in compensation for accommodating Ukrainian war refugees in 2022.

Compensations will be paid until 2024. So far, more than 73,000 Ukrainians who fled the war and received temporary protection have been registered in Lithuania.
