Container handling at Klaipėda port up by 57%

Klaipėda seaport, which had forecast that cargo handling might decrease by 35% in 2022 due to the loss of transit freight, has reoriented and attracted new cargo flows last year.

Klaipėda seaport posted a record by the end of the year as TEU container handling soared by 57%, from 666,775 in 2021 to 1,047,941 in 2022.
