Ex-formin calls to provide Ukraine weapons it needs

Lithuania’s former foreign minister, now Ambassador-at-Large Linas Linkevičius hopes a breakthrough will be achieved at the Ramstein Format meeting on Friday and EU leaders will show their determination to provide Ukraine not only tanks Leopard 2 but also other weapons.

In an interview to the public broadcaster LRT on Friday, the ambassador said Ukraine needs not only tanks but also other effective offensive weapons, which are needed for liberating its occupied and annexed territories.
