Transport Ministry asks to donate bicycles to Ukraine

The Ministry of Transport and Communications of Lithuania is initiating a campaign a Bicycle for Ukraine (#DviratisUkrainai), which will last from 17 January until 11 March. It asks to donate to Ukrainians new and used bicycles, as well as cycling accessories like helmets, high visibility vests, reflectors, headlights and bike racks.

Bikes will be collected in 25 locations across Lithuania and then transported to Ukraine in spring. Major transport companies will also join the campaign.
