Belarusian opposition leader: Lukashenko regime is afraid to declare mobilisation

Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya believes that the Alexander Lukashenko regime is afraid to declare mobilisation as nearly all citizens of Belarus oppose joining Russia’s war against Ukraine.

On Monday, in an interview to TV3, Tsikhanouskaya said that the Lukashenko regime is unaware how the Belarusian society may react to mobilisation, but officials know that people resist the regime.
