Red Cross criticises migrant policy for exceptions limited to medical emergencies only

The Lithuanian Red Cross has published its 2022 monitoring report, which provides an overview of the ‘turning away’ migrant policy introduced in Lithuania in August 2021.

The report says that the Lithuanian Red Cross has made recommendations to take more responsible care of the survival needs of the people who are being ‘turned away’, but no real changes have been made.
