2022 warmer than usual in Lithuania

In 2022, the average annual air temperature in Lithuania was 7.9 °C, which is 0.5 °C above the normal climate conditions (1991–2020 average), the country’s Hydrometeorological Service said.

The warmest year in the history of meteorological observations in Lithuania was 2020, when the average annual air temperature was 9.2 °C.
