PM’s adviser Vasiliauskas to join IMF executive board in January

Vitas Vasiliauskas, adviser to the prime minister and former chairman of the board of the Bank of Lithuania, will become a member of the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) this month, the portal vz.lt said.

Vasiliauskas is set to start his term of office in the of the IMF board on 17 January. On 6 January, he is to leave the prime minister’s team, according to the report.
