Neliupšienė: it will take time before we can tell Germany is rallying central, northern and eastern Europe

Deputy Foreign Minister Jovita Neliupšienė says that a moment of “turning point” started in Germany over Russia’s war in Ukraine and it is yet unclear how it will end.

“The biggest challenge in this respect is that the Germans see their leadership as being in the middle, bringing together both the south which may not see Russia as a major threat and the north – the Baltic States, central Europe. We have very high expectations and we see Germany as a leader,” Neliupšienė told Delfi in an interview.
