President: Foreign minister’s proposal to review Lithuanian-German communique irresponsible

The Lithuanian foreign minister’s proposal to review the communique signed by Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in June is irresponsible, the President’s Office said.

“Today’s proposal by the foreign minister to review the joint communique by the President of the Republic of Lithuania and Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany on the deployment of the brigade in Lithuania is irresponsible, to say the least,” the presidency said in a comment obtained by ELTA.
