Finance Ministry: Lithuania’s economy to grow in 2023

The Ministry of Finance has published the latest Economic Development Scenario projecting Lithuania’s gross domestic product (GDP) to grow by 2.4% in 2022, more than anticipated in earlier projections in autumn. GDP growth in 2023 is forecast to stand at 0.7%.

Minister of Finance Gintarė Skaistė said Wednesday that GDP figures next year would be affected by decisions aimed at maintaining people’s purchasing power and mitigating energy price hike for households and businesses. In 2024 and 2025, GDP is expected to grow by 3%.
