Red Cross and municipalities urge Lithuanians to contribute to aid for Ukraine

The Lithuanian Red Cross Society together with municipalities are launching an aid campaign to donate power generators and sleeping bags to Ukraine. Lithuanian residents are invited to contribute to the campaign financially.

Head of the Lithuanian Red Cross Society Kristina Meidė says Ukraine faces power deficit because Russia continues intense missile attacks against energy infrastructure. As a result, living conditions deteriorate in Ukraine.
