President: consequences of Russia’s war in Ukraine are also felt in Asian countries

As part of his working visit to Brussels, President Gitanas Nausėda attended the EU-ASEAN Summit on Wednesday. Addressing the leaders of the European and Asian countries, the Lithuanian president focused on security and energy issues, the President’s Communication Group reports.

In his address, the president emphasized that in the context of Russia’s war in Ukraine, the ties between Europe and Southeast Asia are valuable and important. According to Nausėda, Europe and Southeast Asia are united by respect for the rules-based international order and the principles of multilateralism.
