Vilnius public transport drivers’ strike to continue

The indefinite strike of public transport drivers in Lithuania’s capital will continue on 15 December as the trade union of public transport company Vilniaus viešasis transportas (VVT) did not meet with company representatives on Wednesday.

The trade union, which is negotiating with VVT for better working conditions, had to submit its reply on 14 December to a solution proposed by VVT. However, company’s CEO Darius Aleknavičius said that trade union representatives did not come to a meeting.
