Number of Russian citizens arriving in Lithuania has halved since September

The number of Russian Federation citizens arriving in Lithuania has more than halved since 19 September, when visa issuance was suspended and the Baltic States and Poland imposed temporary restrictions for Russian tourists due to Russia’s war against Ukraine, Minister of the Interior Agnė Bilotaitė stated on 14 December.

“The flow of Russian citizens has decreased by 57%,” the minister said at a press conference Wednesday.
