EC projects record fall in 2021 VAT gap for Lithuania

In 2021, Lithuania’s value-added tax (VAT) gap has narrowed down most remarkably over the entire period of its calculation, the Ministry of Finance said, referring to the European Commission’s (EC) recent report.

Such a conclusion was drawn in a report by the EC’s Center for Social and Economic Research (CASE) on the VAT gap in European Union (EU) countries for 2021.
