“We have conducted an analytical anti-corruption intelligence investigation. It was launched in the first half of the year, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture which provided some information and requested our assistance. The aim in this case was to identify certain trends in the land restitution process, specifically not how the decision itself is taken, but what happens to these plots afterwards and how these plots are concentrated in the hands of certain individuals and how this concentration of plots occurs,” Kaziliūnaitė told at the sitting of the Seimas Committee on Rural Affairs on Wednesday.
