Lithuania could accommodate up to 30,000 more Ukrainian refugees

Minister of Social Security and Labour Monika Navickienė says Lithuania is ready to accommodate thousands more Ukrainian refugees immediately and could accept up to several tens of thousands at most.

“We think that today we are ready to accept around 6,000–8,000 people. (&) Schools and other buildings no longer in use by municipalities have been prepared,” she told reporters Wednesday.
