Foreign Minister criticises idea of peace talks with Putin

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis opposes the idea of peace talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in return for a promise to end the war against Ukraine.

According to the foreign minister, the West is not sending Ukraine all the tools it needs to end the war and avoids discussing specifics on Ukraine’s NATO membership because the belief is still alive that after the war the West can return to business as usual with Russia.
