By 17.7% more tourists accommodated in Q3

In Q3 2022, accommodation establishments accommodated 1 million 385.3 thousand tourists, which is by 17.7 percent more than in the same period of 2021. The number of foreign tourists accommodated totalled 412.8 thousand (1.8 times more), of Lithuania’s residents – 972.5 thousand (by 2.5 percent more), said Statistics Lithuania.

In July 2022, the country’s accommodation establishments received by 17.2 percent more, in August – by 19.3 percent more, in September – by 16.1 percent more tourists than in the respective months in 2021.
