Nausėda: it is inefficient to have air defence systems only in Poland but not in Baltic States

President Gitanas Nausėda calls to deploy effective air defence systems in all NATO member states on the eastern flank. The head of state says the missile strike in Poland, which happened on 15 November claiming the lives of two people, marks a new stage in Russia’s war against Ukraine when no country can feel safe.

During his visit to the Czech Republic on Thursday, Nausėda told the media that Lithuania is concerned and believes now is the right time to think about the security of NATO’s eastern flank.
