Nausėda on explosion in Poland: each inch of NATO territory must be defended

President Gitanas Nausėda has expressed solidarity with Poland amidst unconfirmed reports of two explosions by Russian missiles on its territory. The head of state emphasises that each inch of NATO territory must be defended.

“Concerning news from Poland tonight on at least two explosions. Keeping a close contact with our Polish friends. Lithuania stands in strong solidarity with Poland. Every inch of NATO territory must be defended!” Nausėda wrote on his Twitter account.
