Foreign trade deficit at EUR 830mn in September

In September 2022, exports of goods amounted to EUR 4.41 billion, imports – EUR 5.24 billion. Exports of goods of Lithuanian origin amounted to EUR 2.52 billion. The foreign trade deficit amounted to EUR 830 million, Statistics Lithuania reports.

Over the month (September 2022, against August 2022), exports increased by 2.1, imports – 5 percent. The increase in exports was influenced by an increase in exports of machinery and mechanical appliances, parts thereof (23.2 percent), electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof (20.8 percent), ground vehicles (13.2 percent).
