“Today only a snap Seimas election would be meaningful as it might change something. We do not know what the outcome of the election would be. If there was a high turnout and people angry with this government would come to the ballots, then the situation would change. However, if that anger is manifested in emigration and indifference, then nothing will change. The Conservatives would win easily with 35% voter turnout,” Karbauskis told the radio station Žinių Radijas on Friday.

“In this composition of the Seimas, the Government without the Conservatives is impossible. One can replace the Liberals with Saulius Skvernelis’ political group [Democrats For Lithuania], but it is unclear if they need this,” said Karbauskis.
