Organized by the Lithuanian parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Center for Liberal Modernity, is a German think tank, the conference aims to contribute to updating the European and transatlantic strategy against Russia, helping policy makers to restructure Europe's Eastern policy in the context of the aggression against Ukraine, and bolstering European security.

Other topics to be discussed include the fight against populism, cyber-attacks and disinformation, and energy independence.

The event will be attended, in person or remotely, by politicians and diplomatic experts from around the world, including Ukraine's former Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin; Lithuanian Deputy Foreign Minister Jonas Survila; Laurynas Kasciunas, chairman of the Lithuanian parliamentary Committee on National Security and Defense; Slawomir Debski, director of the Polish Institute of International Affairs; Kirill Rogov, director of Re: Russia. Expertise, Analysis and Policy Network; Daniela Schwarzer, executive director of Open Society Europe and Central Asia; Daniel Fried, a former US diplomat who helped craft the country's sanctions against Russia, and others.
