Nausėda: we can resist Russian propaganda by better understanding shared history of Eastern and Western Europe

On Monday, 24 October, President Gitanas Nausėda and First Lady Diana Nausėdienė met with King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians who are paying a state visit to Lithuania.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, President Nausėda said that Europe’s historical memory must be preserved and only by better understanding the shared history of Eastern and Western Europe is it possible to resist Russia’s propaganda, disinformation and the spread of Soviet narratives.
