MP: opposition may consider motion of no confidence against Government

The opposition claims to be considering whether to launch a motion of no confidence against the Government led by Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė. Labour Party’s leader Andrius Mazuronis says this would allow to ascertain if the Seimas still trusts the Cabinet of Ministers.

“Interpellation of 5 or 6 ministers would bring no benefit. The results would be pretty much clear because of the open vote. I had proposed and will once again propose to political groups of the opposition to consider [a motion of] no confidence against the entire Government. This would be one procedure, one vote,” Mazuronis told the radio station Žinių radijas on Friday.
