Vilnius mayor endorses MP in upcoming municipal election

The Freedom Party is holding primaries to select its mayoral candidate in Vilnius for the 2023 municipal election and incumbent Mayor of Vilnius City Remigijus Šimašius has endorsed MP Tomas Vytautas Raskevičius.

The mayor wrote in a post on Facebook that Raskevičius is the candidate who would not look back at the past, would continue eliminating Soviet remnants and would set ambitious goals for Lithuania’s capital.
