F-18 launches from US aircraft carrier in Mediterranean to complete tasks in Lithuania

A part of NATO-led international Exercise Neptune Strike 2022.2 was conducted on Monday at Brig Gen Kazys Veverskis Training Area of Division General Stasys Raštikis Lithuanian Armed Forces School (at Kazlų Rūda), the Armed Forces reports.

The Lithuanian and US Special Operations Forces and military personnel of the Lithuanian Air Force Air Defence Battalion trained to deliver joint fire support, requested and controlled at the same time, with the F-18 flying in from aboard the George H.W. Bush Carrier deployed in the Mediterranean.
