Lithuania transfers to Ukraine mortar carriers and armoured vehicles

Minister of National Defence Arvydas Anušauskas took part in the US-led Ramstein format meeting in Brussels on 12 October. The format pulls together ministers of defence and representatives of the militaries of the countries providing military assistance to Ukraine, the Ministry of National Defence reports.

“Lithuania continues rendering assistance to Ukraine and will do so further: we will donate winter clothing and cold-weather equipment, we will assign funds for material assistance next year, also, M113-mounted 120mm mortars, armoured vehicles, thermal vision devices, drones, and other equipment,” said Minister Anušauskas.
