Minimum monthly salary to rise by EUR 83

The Ministry of Social Security and Labour has announced that, if parliament approves, the minimum monthly salary would be raised by 15% or EUR 110, from EUR 730 to EUR 840 in 2023.

The minimum hourly wage in 2023 would also be raised by 15% or EUR 0.67, from EUR 4.47 to EUR 5.14.
The tax-exempt amount of income would be raised by 15.7% to EUR 625. As a result of the increases, the income of the minimum salary earners would grow by EUR 83 per month.
