Coronavirus: 892 people were diagnosed on Wednesday

On 5 October, Wednesday, 892 residents of Lithuania were diagnosed with COVID-19 and one person died.

According to Statistics Lithuania, 699 people contracted the virus for the first time, 180 for the second time and 13 for the third time.
The total number of confirmed cases in the country has reached 1,255,181 since the outbreak of the pandemic. The number of active cases currently stands at 21,321.
